Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Knowledge center aims to support the teaching and learning activities in the institutes by providing updated Knowledge and ensuring the optimum utilization of the available
resources.
A library orientation programme was conducted by Miss. Suman Yadav, librarian of Humera Khan College of Education in the Auditorium Room on 02/03/2021 at 11:00.am for the new batch B. Ed
students.
In the programme the librarian Miss. Suman Yadav presented a power point presentation and gave every detail of its library, its concept library’s importance on student’s life, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
Knowledge Centre facilities, services, rules, and regulations, how to activate NDLI, Delnet. It’s uses, e-journals, e-books, digital library of Humera Khan College of Education. The programme ends at 12: 00 pm.
Workshop on J-Gate Database for E-Journals

J -Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature, launched in 2001, by informatic India imited. J- gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles available in Online.

World Book and Copyright Day is a Significant Event that Promotes the Importance of Books, Reading, and Copyright Protection around the World,
World Book and Copyright Day is Celebrated on 23rd April Each Year. On account of this, H.K.Institute of Management Studies and Research in Collaboration with Humera Khan College of Education Organized World Book Day and Copyright Day on 24th April 2023.
The Event Started with University Song, Lighting of Lamp and Facilitation of Chief Guest Dr. Govind Shinde, Director of H.K. Institute of Management Studies and Research and Dr. Amruta Panda, Principal of Humera Khan College of Education
Following Activities Carried Out Importance of The Day, Debate on Book and Copyright, Skit on Role of Books in Our Life, Fun Activities based on Theme.
The Event Ended with the National Anthem and Group Photo Session.
Post Event, everyone was Gathered at Library for Reading Books Exhibit in the Library
The Event was very well organised and Everyone Showed Their Enthusiasm by Participating in the Activities.
Thus, the celebration concluded with a positive note.

15th October is observed as Vachan Prerna Diwas to markbirth anniversary of our Late President and a great scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. This day is observed so that the
students understand the importance of reading and are encouraged to develop it as a hobby.

Report on Vasant Panchami
Humera Khan College of Education celebrated Vasant Panchami on 15th January.
The celebration of Vasant Panchami at the library is a unique blend of cultural reverence and intellectual pursuits. The festivities unfolded in the library where the
scent of old books mingled with the fragrance of fresh flowers. The library was adorned with marigold garlands and yellow banners, evoking the spirit of Vasant Panchami.
The highlight of the celebration was the Saraswati puja,
conducted with solemnity and devotion, a beautiful photo of Goddess Saraswati was placed amidst a backdrop of books symbolizing the convergence of knowledge and
spirituality. Faculty of HKCE and HKIMSR offered prayers and sought blessings for wisdom and enlightenment.

transcended boundaries, infusing the spirit of the festival with a deep appreciation for knowledge and literature.

Workshop on J Gate Database for E-Journals

On 1st March 2024 a workshop was conducted on J Gate Database for E-Journals where all the F.Y.B. Ed students and Management students (MMS) and all the faculty members of Humera Khan College of Education and attended the seminar. The speaker of the workshop was Mr. Bhavesh Shah. Miss Mehwish introduced Mr. Bhavesh Shah sir. Mr. Bhavesh More started the session by telling us the objectives of the seminar. Then he explained us what Research is. He also gave many
examples related to the Journal.
He also explained what Journal is and how we use this research in education to enhance our teaching and learning process. Later then he explained us about the Steps of E-Journal and how we can use it and implement the research. Then he also explained about the different bars of E-Journal.
Further on he then explained the main topic of the seminar that is J Gate database He explained the definition and the meaning of the journal. He also explained the different methods to Research the topic which we want to search in detailed.
The session was ended with discussion and question and answer session and vote of thanks given by miss Saman. Overall, the seminar was every effective as we learned how to use that plate form and how we can enhance our teaching and learning and make it effective and efficient.
